Bay Leaves - Whole

Bay Leaves (Laurel) are used as a seasoning in soups and prepared meat dishes.

Bay Leaves (Laurel nobilis) are gathered from an evergreen member of the Laurel family native to the Mediterranean Region.

The highly aromatic leaves are thick, dark green, elliptical shaped and range from 1-3 inches in length and 1/2 -1 inch in width.  They are harvested by hand and pressed to dry, leaving a flat leaf.
