Decoty's world-famous "BBQ rub" is great for briskets, chicken, pork, steaks, and salads. A supreme blend of spices that can be used on just about anything.
Use 1.5 ounces per pound of meat.
Ingredients: Salt, Garlic, Spices, Onion, Celery Salt, Sugar, and Perkasil (added to reduce caking).
Hint: When rubbing a packer-style brisket (has a full layer of fat on one side), use 1.5 lbs. of Seasoning Supreme per 12 to 15-pound brisket. Rub into the meat vigorously. Meat will turn red. Wrap in foil and cook fat side down for about one hour. Baste all sides with natural juices created after about one hour of cooking then turn brisket, fat side up, and slow cook for 6 to 10 hours. Keep the brisket moist with natural juices throughout the cooking process. Cut your brisket across the grain of meat in 1/4" thick pieces.
